Commercial Administrative Law

Years of experience gained from our work on multifaceted, interdisciplinary projects led us to recognize the need to create a Commercial Administrative Law Department. The Department's tasks include representing clients in administrative proceedings to obtain various types of permits necessary to conduct business activity. The experience upon which the Department draws includes successful administrative proceedings in the field of environmental protection law, consultancy provided to clients during administrative proceedings in respect of motorway construction (A2 and A4 motorways), obtaining building permits, road lane closure permits, tree felling permits, permits to seize real estate in order to lay technical infrastructure network, as well as permits in respect of the use and conservation of inland water.

Due to the increasing role of environmental protection provisions, our experience of defending clients in cases where penalties have been imposed for breach is of increasing importance (the largest fine imposed on one of our clients amounted to more than PLN 75,000,000).

Our practice also encompasses counteracting all attempts of "eco-terrorism", which includes representing clients in administrative cases initiated by various organizations in order to force investors to make significant donations for their causes.
