The IP/ IT team's work is coordinated by Szymon Gogulski, who specializes in industrial property, unfair competition and domain name disputes together and Dr Ewa Skrzydło-Tefelska, who specializes in private international and European law, patent law, pharmaceutical law, advertising law and EU law. SK&S also serves clients with its knowledge and experience as regards on-going commercial advice on intellectual property. By way of an example, we advise our client's on an on-going basis on the conclusion of licensing agreements, delimitation agreements, joint research agreements and intellectual property right assignment agreements. Moreover, we have assisted our clients in the legal protection of biotechnical inventions, integrated circuit topography, copyrights in the field of electronic exploitation of works (including Internet copyright infringements) and databases, etc. The legal protection of software is a further field of significance in our practice. For many years we have assisted Business Software Alliance (BSA), an association of leading software producers, in its efforts to improve the observance of national software protection provisions.
