SK&S provides legal services to a number of pharmaceutical companies, including complex legal assistance to the worldwide, US based producer of the innovative medicinal products as well as other US pharmaceutical companies. Except for the “standard” legal services rendered for the pharmaceutical companies, SK&S is particularly well known due to its extensive expertise in the protection of the innovative producers against actions of the producers of the generic medicines (which covers court actions based on the Industrial Property Law, Law on Combating Unfair Competition and specific provisions of the Pharmaceutical Law pertaining to data and market exclusivity). SK&S is particularly active (and successful) in the patent litigation field. SK&S is also leading practice in combating counterfeit medicinal products, including custom seizures, coordination of police seizures and actions undertaken against illegal internet pharmacies.
