We have extensive experience in advising on State aid matters in different sectors. In recent years we helped our Clients in obtaining State aid packages totaling well over € 300 million. In the course of our practice we have developed excellent working relationships with the Polish Ministry of Economy, the Polish competition authority – UOKiK, management of selected special economic zones in Poland and local authorities. We were also engaged in working contacts with the European Commission in connection with approval of State aid (including meetings and preparing replies to European Commission enquiries). Our experience includes also other areas of business operations. In particular, we advised banks and local authorities on projects of financing acquisition for construction or improvement of public infrastructure. We also advise on rescue and restructuring aid, use of State aid and amendment and renegotiation of State aid packages in view of various difficulties.
