Dr. Łukasz Goniak joins the SK&S Public Procurement Team as Senior Counsel

In response to the growing importance of public investment, including in the defence sector, Dr. Łukasz Goniak, attorney-at-law, is joining the Public Procurement Department at Sołtysiński Kawecki & Szlęzak as Senior Counsel.

Dr. Goniak is an expert in providing comprehensive legal advice to both domestic and international entities, particularly in the construction, road, transport and energy sectors. His experience covers projects delivered under public procurement and PPP frameworks, both at the bidding stage and during implementation.

His practical approach and understanding of investment realities will be a major asset in delivering complex projects,” commented Agata Szeliga, Head of the Public Procurement Practice at SK&S.

The new Senior Counsel combines professional practice with academic activity. He is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Media Education and Journalism at the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw. He graduated in Law and in Political Science and International Studies from Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. His doctoral thesis on electronic media was awarded the prestigious Paweł Stępka Prize by the National Broadcasting Council and the University of Warsaw. He has also developed his expertise at international institutions, including King’s College London and the University of Texas at Austin, participating in courses on media law, new technologies and EU law. Before embarking on his legal career, he worked for nearly eight years as a television journalist.
