Sołtysiński Kawecki & Szlęzak advised Leggett & Platt, a global manufacturer of engineered components and products used in homes, workplaces and vehicles, on the Polish legal aspects of its acquisition of FurnMaster’s furniture manufacturing operations from Gabriel Group, including the direct acquisition of shares in the Polish entity from the FurnMaster’s group.
FurnMaster provides furniture manufacturing services to leading international furniture brands. Its European business consists of two companies located in Poland and Lithuania.
In this transaction, Danish law firm Moalem Weitemeyer acted as lead international counsel, with SK&S advising on Polish legal matters and COBALT Legal advising on Lithuanian law.
