SK&S advised on the Polish law aspects of DWS’s acquisition of Peakside Capital Advisors

Sołtysiński Kawecki & Szlęzak advised DWS Group, a leading European asset manager, on the Polish law aspects of the signing of binding agreements to acquire 100 percent of Peakside Capital Advisors AG. Headquartered in Zug, Switzerland, Peakside is a specialist real estate asset manager focused on value-add and opportunistic investments in Germany and Central and Eastern Europe.

The transaction will strengthen DWS’s Alternatives platform, including its European real estate business, by expanding its value-add and opportunistic investment capabilities and further broadening its European real estate offering. Peakside manages more than EUR 1.7 billion in assets, primarily on behalf of institutional investors, and operates across Germany, Luxembourg and Poland. The transaction is expected to close by year-end 2026, subject to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.
