SK&S received the IFLR Europe Awards 2026 Impact Deal Award – Restructuring for its work on the Intrum restructuring.
The award relates to SK&S’s role as Polish counsel to Intrum AB in connection with the Polish law aspects of a landmark EUR 4.48 billion recapitalization and liability management transaction.
The project was handled by a team led by Dr. Marcin Olechowski and Dr. Wojciech Iwański. Jan Pierzgalski and Joanna Mróz, who were also part of the transaction team, represented the firm at the awards ceremony in London.
The IFLR Europe Awards honor the most innovative and complex cross-border projects, taking into account, among other factors, the sophistication of the work, the impact of the transaction, and the challenges involved in its execution.
