SK&S advised a consortium of banks on a financing transaction for one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of advanced battery systems

SK&S advised a consortium of banks comprising Pekao (acting as Loan Agent and KUKE Guarantee Agent) and mBank (acting as Collateral Agent and Sustainable Finance Coordinator) on the financing of Impact Clean Power Technology S.A. — one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of advanced battery systems from the TDJ Group.

The scope of work performed by the SK&S team included comprehensive transaction support, including the preparation of documentation and legal advice at every stage of the process.

The project was led by Sylwia Karpińska (Senior Associate), with support from Lidia Gąsiorowska (Associate), under the supervision of Aneta Urban (Partner) from the transaction banking team.

The financing was provided in the form of a Sustainability-Linked Loan and secured by a KUKE guarantee. The funds raised will be used to develop and scale up the production of high-performance battery systems for heavy-duty transport, including batteries for electric trucks, zero-emission buses, and advanced industrial robotics.
