SK&S advised Box Intl Technology Ltd in the acquisition of AI-powered, intelligent document processing (IDP) technology from Alphamoon

Sołtysiński Kawecki & Szlęzak (SK&S) advised Box Intl Technology Ltd, a company from Box, Inc. Group (NYSE: BOX), on the acquisition of the AI-powered, intelligent document processing (IDP) technology of Alphamoon – the start-up company managed by Norbert Raus and Adam Gonczarek. The transaction also involved the transfer of Alphamoon’s team that specialises in AI to Box.

Alphamoon's technology combines the most advanced large language models (LLMs) with proprietary OCR and document processing technology to intelligently structure documents on a large scale. Integration of Alphamoon's cutting-edge AI technology with Box AI will enhance Box AI's ability to automate document processing and extract metadata using artificial intelligence across multiple industries, which will significantly expand the Box Intelligent Content Management (ICM) platform.

SK&S team supported Box at all stages of the transaction process, including the due diligence, preparation and negotiation of the transaction documentation till closing.

SK&S transaction team was headed by Sławomir Uss (Partner, M&A) and Wiktor Markiewicz (Associate, M&A) responsible for the project coordination and M&A aspects of the transaction.

The transaction team was supported by Agata Szeliga (Partner), who supervised IP, IT and state aid related matters of the due diligence and the transaction documentation.
