SK&S Litigation Department obtained a judgment of the Court of Appeal awarding over PLN 40 million to Polimex-Mostostal

On 6 March 2020, SK&S Litigation Department composed of Rafał Waszkiewicz (Partner) and Katarzyna Paczuska-Tokarska (Partner) received for Polimex-Mostostal S.A. a judgment of the Court of Appeal awarding the company PLN 40.4 million (case file no. I ACa 609/19).

The Court of Appeal in Katowice, Civil Division, announced the judgment in the case lodged by Polimex-Mostostal S.A. versus the City of Katowice. The case concerned withdrawal from the contract concluded on 3 October 2011 for the Construction of a multifunctional complex building of the International Congress Centre in Katowice. The court adjudicated in favour of the company the amount of approx. PLN 40.4 million, including interest.

The judgment of the Court of Appeal is final and binding.
