Jacek Myszko

Partner and head of the Life Sciences practice. Specializes in all aspects related to medicinal products, medical devices, food, tobacco and nicotine products, cosmetics, animal feed, and other regulated products, as well as intellectual property law.

Advises on regulatory projects including the acquisition of pharmacy chains, veterinary clinics, clinical research centers, and food/feed facilities, pharmaceutical company restructurings, and the launch of nicotine products onto the market. Provides advice on the development of distribution systems for pharmaceutical wholesalers, including during inspections carried out by the Chief Pharmaceutical Inspectorate (GIF). Conducts administrative and court proceedings in the area of regulated products.

Advises Polish and international clients on all aspects of patent and know-how licensing, as well as intellectual property protection, including landmark cases before the Supreme Court. Specializes in projects at the intersection of intellectual property and pharmaceutical law, including the ‘skinny label’ concept and the reimbursement of generic medicines in the context of patent protection for reference medicines, etc.

Speaks at training events and is an expert on issues related to food and pharmaceutical law.
