Marek Oleksyn

With over 20 years of experience, Marek advises and represents both domestic and international clients across the full spectrum of intellectual property matters, including trademarks, patents, industrial designs, know-how, copyrights, databases, and internet domain names. Regularly counsels businesses on unfair competition and advertising law. Appears before the common and administrative courts, the Polish Patent Office, EUIPO, and the CJEU, and is a registered attorney before the Unified Patent Court (UPC). Drafts and negotiates complex technology transfer agreements and R&D contracts, and advises entrepreneurs on innovation protection strategies and employee inventiveness. Guides clients through cross-border projects involving technology transfer and the enforcement of intellectual property rights.

Consistently recognized in leading international intellectual property rankings, including Chambers Global, Chambers Europe, Legal 500, IAM Patent 1000, and WTR 1000. Is an active member of prominent international organizations dedicated to intellectual property protection, including INTA, AIPPI, and ECTA.

Authored numerous publications in the field of intellectual property, and lectures at Lazarski University in Warsaw. His teaching spans several postgraduate programs, including “MBA ESG”, “MBA Healthcare, Innovation and Technology", "Law in New Technology Business", and “Environmental Law”.
