prof. zw. dr hab. Marek Kolasiński

Advises on competition law, consumer protection law, sector regulation, civil law and European Union law. In his work for the Firm's clients, Marek draws on the knowledge gained from his many years of academic research, which he conducted, among others, at Harvard Law School (a year-long stay as a Visiting Researcher and numerous shorter research visits) and his extensive practical experience. Adjudicated in the Seventh Commercial Division of the Court of Appeals in Warsaw, where he was assigned specialization covering the same issues he handles at SK&S. Before going to Harvard Law School, he was a notary public, Vice President of the National Notary Council and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Rejent Life Mutual Insurance Company.

Regularly publishes in leading British, German, American and Polish academic journals (Harvard Journal of Sports and Entertainment Law, European Competition Law Review, European Competition and Regulatory Law Review, Państwo i Prawo). Has conducted numerous trainings for Competition and Consumer Protection Court Judges, Appellate Court Judges, attorneys, notaries and trainees. Marek is Head of the Department of International and European Law at the Faculty of Law and Administration of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun.
